Community Guidelines
Walifi is built for safe, useful, and respectful pet care. These rules apply to posts, comments, profiles, reviews, chat messages, listings, requests, and media.
1. Protect animals
- Do not promote, threaten, depict, or encourage animal cruelty, neglect, abandonment, exploitation, unsafe handling, or intentional harm.
- Do not give dangerous care advice or falsely present yourself as a veterinarian or other licensed professional.
- Contact local emergency or animal-welfare authorities when an animal faces immediate danger; reporting in Walifi is not an emergency service.
2. No harassment, hate, or sexual content
- No bullying, stalking, unwanted sexual behavior, coordinated abuse, threats, or repeated unwanted contact.
- No attacks, exclusion, or hateful content based on protected or personal characteristics.
- No sexually explicit content, sexual exploitation, or any sexual content involving minors.
3. No violence, illegal activity, or unsafe conduct
- Do not threaten or glorify violence, promote self-harm, organize illegal activity, sell prohibited items, or give instructions that create a serious safety risk.
- Do not use Walifi to facilitate theft, abuse, unauthorized access to homes, or harm to people, animals, or property.
4. No scams, spam, or manipulation
- Do not create fraudulent services, adoption posts, requests, bids, bookings, payments, reviews, or identities.
- Do not send repetitive unsolicited promotions, phishing, malware, misleading links, or requests for credentials or one-time codes.
- Do not manipulate ratings, engagement, pricing, availability, or payment outcomes.
5. Respect privacy and authenticity
- Do not publish another person's address, phone number, identity documents, financial information, private messages, live location, or other sensitive data without a lawful reason and permission.
- Do not impersonate another person or business, use deceptive profile information, or falsely claim qualifications.
- Only share photos, recordings, pet records, and other material you have the right to use.
6. How reporting and blocking work
You can report sexual content, harassment or hate, violence or threats, scams or spam, illegal or unsafe conduct, privacy violations or impersonation, animal harm, or another concern. Reports should be made in good faith and include only information needed for review.
Reporting an item hides that item for the reporter where supported; it does not automatically block the author or impose a penalty. Blocking is a separate action. A block is enforced in both directions for new interactions while existing booking and payment history is preserved. Blocking during an active booking may open a dispute and freeze new chat messages.
We do not tell the reported user who submitted a report, except where disclosure is legally required. We may need to preserve report and moderation records for safety and legal purposes.
7. Enforcement
Depending on context, severity, history, and risk, Walifi may take no action, issue a warning, reduce access, hide or delete content, suspend or ban an account, preserve evidence, pause a transaction, or notify relevant authorities. Serious harm may result in immediate action without a prior warning.
Automated keyword checks may prevent clearly prohibited text from being posted. Human review may still be needed, and context matters. Do not attempt to evade moderation controls.
8. Appeals and urgent concerns
To ask for review of a moderation decision, email support@walifi.app from your account email and include the relevant content, report, or account details. Do not include unnecessary sensitive data.
For immediate danger, suspected crime, or urgent animal-welfare concerns, contact the appropriate emergency service or authority first.
